my credit isnt horrible but i made 2 mistakes on credit cards and a few med bills im in the process paying off my score is still mid 500′s if i show a stable work history or bring a massive deposit would that look good.. a lot of my friends keep tellin my they have really bad credit and still get approved..anything helps preciate it

I recently looked up my credit score to see where I am at b/c I am interested in a getting a new automobile b/c the one I have is causing to many problems and it seems pointless to keep fixing it…what are my chances of getting a decent deal with trading in a 2003 Mazda 6 for a new automobile (toyota or honda) with my credit score being as it is?
Any advice would help b/c I am absolutely clueless and need all the help I can get

i have terrible credit for what ever reason, and i need to get a automobile , i do have a good job with 6 years in , is there automobile lenders out there for me ,with very little money down.

currently i am paying off an $ 8700 loan at 15% interest. my payments are now $ 235 per month. i plan on getting refinanced at a much superior interest rate with my credit union in a few months. (they require 6 on-time payments before they’ll refinance me. i’m getting ready to make my 3rd of 48 payments.
i would like to start paying about $ 20 or $ 30 on the premium — which i would add to each check i send. but does it make sense to do this now (at 15% interest), or should i wait ’til i refinance at maybe around 1/2 that rate?

I have a vehicle that i am now struggling to pay for and would like to get rid of without screwing my credit up. i have a family member who is interested in my vehicle but he says instead of selling it to him. let him take over the vehicle loan. Is that something that can be done because after all wouldnt a bank rather somebody else take over the loan than have to reposess the automobile?

I just saw a commercial saying if I join their credit union and transfer my automobile loan to them, I get a $ 500 Visa debit card. I am not in it for the debit card. But if I transfer my automobile loan to them, am I refinancing? If I have a high interest rate now, if I change to them can I also get a superior interest rate? What are the advantages and disadvantages to refinancing?

Ok I have a terrible credit it’s at 550. I have a student loan defaulted but I am working my way torwards getting this off my report. Ive got as well credit card sent to a collector as well as a cellphone bill. It’s becoming winter looking for a good dependable truck. I would have a good down payment of say 4000 to 5 grand to put down torwards one. Based on this information where should I go to get a truck or should I try to hold out? My current job requires a lot of travel that’s why I am forcing my self to see what I can get for a decen deal? I have been employed with a very good job making 4 grand a month little over a year! What are my options?
