Discharged from bankruptcy 8 months ago. For debt now I have student loans and $ 450 on one credit card. My credit score is low around 590-620. How much should I anticipate if any to get for a automobile loan? How much money down will I need? what will my loan finance rate be? What companies are the ideal to get a bad credit automobile loan? Any good on the web companies to use or just go to a dealer that specializes in bad credit loans? My income is around $ 2000 a month before taxes and benefits etc.

okay heres the deal
i have an auto loan out on the automobile i am currently driving. i want to take a 3,000$ loan out for my daughter next month so she can have a automobile that is reliable.
i have bad credit, and not much money to put down either, i cant get a co signer either unless it is my daughter. she has no credit because she just turned 18, but she doesn’t have anything against her yet.
we have about 500$ to put down on this car.
any tips? there are a lot of in home financing places around where we live so were gonna try to go there. will they want more for a down payment? do they make you get insurance right there or can you get your own when you leave?
its not any of your business if she has a job or not. she is having a baby in April so I am not going to buy her a beater

Years ago I got married at 17 and my credit went downhill from there. Bad automobile loans (2), medical bills (3), credit card bills (2), one eviction and a cell phone bill…. all unpaid some older than 8 years now. I would say a little less than 30,000 in unpaid debt! I am now divorced he is filing for bankruptcy and I do not want to do that because I never want to mark “have you ever filed bankruptcy” on any box.
I am now a full time student, with a part time job and live at home with my mommy again ( never fun to do!!) I want to start paying on some of these bills even if I am just sending in 100 or 200$ a month to them….
What is the ideal way to go about it?
What bills should I focus on paying first?
Should I not pay some of the older ones?

I already know it’s bad. What I need is info on how many credit score points it takes off. Also, if you buy a second automobile before the repo and pay it on time, will that help offset the repo? A buddy is in a really bad automobile loan with an aging automobile and walking away from the loan is probably his only shot at getting out from under it anytime soon. People have told him to walk away from the bad loan and start fresh and keep the rest of his credit squeaky clean and he’ll be okay.

i am trying to buy a 98 lexus es 300 not because of the name lexus but simply because its a good automobile , it has 148,000 on it and the price is 4700 , definitely under bluebook. I’m 18 have bad credit and I need a new car. My bad credit is from a aarons deal that i got fucked over on and a apartment lease I got evicted and didnt pay the broken lease. I am looking at 2 automobiles right now. Both are around $ 17k ones a 06 gti and the others a 07 civic si. I have $ 3k cash for a down payment and I also have a stable job making $ 1700 a month with a company I have been with for a little over a year.
