Husbands grandparents filing chapter 7 and have his automobile loan?
My husbands grandparents who took out a loan to get him a automobile and we pay them monthly for the loan, just filed chapter 7 bankruptcy…
Will his automobile get reposed? How do we keep it from being taken?

This is not about me, but about someone I know. The girl could not get her own loan but then her signer is now filing bankruptsy.

When you apply for an automobile loan, do you get the same answer/amount no matter where you go?
I applied at my credit union for an automobile loan and they gave me an answer of X amount. If I go straight to a automobile dealer about automobile financing/loans, will they give me the same answer of X amount? That being said, is it the same everywhere or do businesses/credit unions/banks each have their own one-of-a-kind judgement?

there are so many companies out there offering simple approval for people with bad credit. I want to go trough the banks but they almost always turn me down. Are dealerships any less sympathetic? I know some down payment is expected but how much should I be anticipating if I am looking at a automobile with a $ 23K price tag?? Thanks everyone for answering.

Hey. If I were to get a automobile loan or a home loan for say, 25 thousand. And find out, I only need to use, 10 thousand, could I use that other 15 thousand for other stuff?
