Can you negotiate a lower price when you payoff an auto loan?
I am aware that this can be done when buying out your lease, but what about when you are just paying off your loan? Oh, one more thing, we already have a pretty low interest rate; so refinancing is not really an option. Thanks!!

About 2 years ago I had a repo put onto my credit *my ins company was charging me 2 times what they should have been and before I could fix that problem I was in debt and ended up lossing my car* Now I have all my credit paid off and a credit score of 610 and looking at getting a auto loan but im not sure who the ideal credit company to go with to get a good APR. I know im probly looking at 20% APR im sure. I need a auto loan of 15k and putting a down payment of 7k, total cost of automobile about 22k. Looking at getting the automobile at the end of May. Is it superior to go to the dealer and see about financing or try going throu capital one auto loan? Was also wondering about capital one because I have a good standing credit account with them.
*my monthly income is over 2k*

just received a letter from BOA to collect an auto loan debt. Back in 06 the automobile I was driving was totaled and the insurance company only paid some of it. I tried to speak to BOA about lowering my monthly payments to something I could afford, because I needed to buy another automobile to get back and forth to work. Could they have gave me the option to refinance the loan so I could afford two automobile payments? After all the insurance company paid most of it when the automobile was totaled. Also do I have a legitimate reason to fight this debt?
Could I file for bankruptcy and what would be the ideal way to go?
