CAN AN APPROVED CAR LOAN BE CANCELLED BY LENDER?
Apr 19th
Question by answerer:
Can an approved automobile loan be cancelled by lender?
I was first pre-approved for a automobile loan and granted to drive the car home the same day on March 2. I now realize that it was probably not the ideal thing to do. But anyway after 2 days of driving the vehicle, I returned back to the dealer to turn in some paperwork. While there, the finance manager told me that he had good news and showed me a document from the lender stating that I was APPROVED. I failed to request a copy of that document and plan to go back to the dealership tomorrow so that I can obtain a copy of the approval for my records. After doing a lot of reading on the web about “spot deliveries”, deals that have fallen through, and scams, I guess I am kind of on my tip toes now. My question is, once a lender has approved you for a loan, are they able to revoke or take it back and cancel the whole deal? Thanks.
HOW SOON AFTER I GET A CAR LOAN CAN I REFINANCE WITH ANOTHER LENDER?

Question by newtobigd78:
How soon after I get a automobile loan can I refinance with another lender?
I am in the market for a new car and I am thinking of financing through the dealer in order to get the “best” deal. However, I really do not intend to stay with them and plan on refinancing through my own bank. My question is: how long do I have to wait until I can refinance, if at all?
GETTING AN AUTO LOAN DIRECT FROM A LENDER RATHER THAN THE CAR DEALER?
Feb 22nd
Question by Brian P:
Getting an auto loan direct from a lender rather than the automobile dealer?
I applied on the web for an auto loan with Capital One Auto Finance (capitalone.com/autoloans) and got approved for a low rate. They sent me a Blank Check that I can just sign over to the automobile dealer and cut out the usual auto financing hassles. It lets me negotiate like a cash buyer and ensure a low auto loan rate. It almost seems to good to be true. Has anyone else had favorable or unfavorable experiences with Capital One on the web auto loans? Thanks!
