I have a automobile loan of about $ 10,000. I got this loan about 9 months ago. I am just wondering how it will affect me if my co-signer files bankruptcy.
The automobile is in my name and she is the co-signer. So with all this new stuff I know does this mean they can come take my automobile too? Even though I make the payments .

Im 27 years old and I have pretty bad credit. Most of the charge offs on my credit file are about 3-5 years old. Ive been paying some of the accts little by little but I still have delinquent accts that total about $ 6,000. I did take out a secured credit card from BofA. I make about 40,000 a year and I have no bills besides my rent and cell phone. Im looking for a loan of about $ 15-20k. I already know my interest rate will be high which is fine. Any suggestions on what banks, dealer financing co. (Honda Finance Inc, Toyota, CarMax…etc) have special financing programs? Or since I do have a credit card thru BofA will it be easier for me to go thru them? Thanks for all your answers

Well guys, im 17 and saved up currently 1.5k for a new car. My automobile currently died and i have a stable job, 15/hr working 30hr/s a week. [been having that job for 6 months].

i just want a way that we can both be secure in the transaction.

I am in desperate need for a vehicle? Single mom, starting college, no car! I do not have really that much time to save up for a car or down payment, as I do have bad credit, from a previous relationship. “Transfering” a automobile loan? Is it just refinancing? And is refinancing a good idea?
I just saw a commercial saying if I join their credit union and transfer my automobile loan to them, I get a $ 500 Visa debit card. I am not in it for the debit card. But if I transfer my automobile loan to them, am I refinancing? If I have a high interest rate now, if I change to them can I also get a superior interest rate? What are the advantages and disadvantages to refinancing?

Should I use my IRA to pay off my credit card and auto loan?
I am 26 yrs old and have 6500 in credit card debt and $ 5000 remaining on an auto loan. I was thinking of using most of my IRA to pay off these loans. Being that I am still in my mid- twenties and having 30+ years to save up for retirement, it seems like a good idea. Plus I will be able to aggressively save after I pay off these loans, both retirement and cash reserves. Good or bad idea?
